What are my reflections/insights/comments on module 2A?
(Instructional Design Models)
Firstly, I learned that Instructional design is a step by stem description of the instructional specifications from the analysis of learning goals, the development of the delivery system to the implementation and evaluation of the instructional plan. This is very important because it enables the educator to implement, evaluate and maintain the situations that facilitate the learning process.
I also learned that there are four stages in Instructional development, such as, Design, Development, Evaluation and Revision. We were also exposed to the four Design models: Dick & and Carey Model, Gagne-Briggs Model, ASSURE Model and the ADDIE Model. More emphasis was put on the last which means Analysis, Design, Development, Implement and Evaluation. I particularly prefer the ADDIE Model because it is simple and very application to our school setting.
Comments: The motivation for this topic was very exciting because we were asked to design and model a t-shirt with very limited materials and time. Personally, I kind of like also the modeling part. For the actual presentation of the topic, in fairness, it was not bad at all.
